Youth Organization in Defense of Animals (YODA), Mumbai was born with a vision to create awareness of the plight of stray and abandoned animals in India. Active in Mumbai, YODA supports strays with shelter, sterilization, rescue, and rehabilitation. The animal rescue non-profit organization encourages the adoption of stray animals and also runs a merch store to raise money for operations. YODA is known in the Mumbai region for providing a wide range of animal welfare activities like rescue, rehabilitation, rehoming, medical aid, background research for adopters, and medical emergencies when required. The animal welfare NGO has been active since 2010 and was founded by 5 animal welfare activists.

YODA is a Mumbai-based NGO that was started with a vision to help abandoned animals throughout the country and provide homes for these abandoned and stray animals. YODA believes that every single effort made by people to help animals takes the cause for the ethical treatment of animals one step further. This animal rescue and rehabilitation NGO majorly work in the field of rescue, rehabilitation, sterilization, and adoption.

The organization actively finds homes for stray dogs and pups and mass sterilizations stray animals in different zones across Mumbai. Support YODA in its cause of improving the lives of stray dogs in Mumbai and India by providing financial support, supplies, and team support.
