Sofia Educational and Welfare Society is a Delhi-based NGO. Since 2004, this NGO has been working towards creating new opportunities for young children. The government-registered foundation functions on the principle of making a difference in the lives of those who have been overlooked and marginalized in the region of Delhi NCR.  

Sofia Educational and Welfare Society mainly focuses on education awareness, women's empowerment, skills development, and employment opportunities. 

This non-profit of North India has already supported more than 22,500 women, girls, and boys by imparting academic education and job skills. This nonprofit has also helped over 50,000 families through healthcare, education, women's livelihood.

Founder's vision & message

Suhail Saifi is the founder of Sofia Education and Welfare Society, Delhi, and he started teaching children as a college student. In his early days, young Saifi understood that the only way to improve the lives of young girls was to educate them and make them economically strong. 

Suhail Saifi is one of the presidents of the Sofia Education and Welfare Society. His team is committed to creating greater opportunities for women and girls by increasing their employability through education, skill training, and better health care.
