Founder's vision & message

Sunil J. Mathew, co-founder of the Society for Rehabilitation of the Visually Challenged (SRVC), established this charity NGO with a vision of creating equal opportunities for visually impaired individuals through education, employment, sports, and social inclusion. Together with M.C. Roy, the organisation was established to address the disparity between disability and opportunity through skill development and self-reliance initiatives. Society for Rehabilitation of the Visually Challenged in Kochi, Kerala, was created to help visually challenged individuals lead independent and dignified lives.

The mission of this charity NGO is to rehabilitate, empower, and create sustainable livelihood opportunities for visually impaired people through training, employment, and awareness initiatives. Its vision is to build an inclusive society where visually challenged individuals can participate equally in all aspects of life. Major projects include the Heart2Heart Orchestra, Envision Trust Telesales Centre, Blind Football Initiative, Para Sports Academy, and rehabilitation programmes with a focus on employment. Society for Rehabilitation of the Visually Challenged in Kochi, Kerala, has helped create employment and sports opportunities for hundreds of beneficiaries.

Sunil J. Mathew continues to support this NGO through innovative rehabilitation and inclusion initiatives.
