Founder's vision & message

Ankita Zadoo founded Sharva Foundation with a clear vision to build a charity-driven NGO that uplifts underserved communities through compassion and action. Based in Jammu, Jammu & Kashmir, the charity, which started with grassroots food drives during the pandemic, steadily expanded its charitable reach. Today, Sharva Foundation operates as a structured charity and NGO from Jammu, Jammu & Kashmir, supported by a committed network of around 217 volunteers working across selected regions.

Ankita Zadoo envisioned Sharva Foundation as a nonprofit NGO focused on sustainable social impact rather than short-term relief. Its significant projects include Food for Cause, Give Her Wings to Fly, Strive With Pride, blood donation camps, and environmental plantation initiatives. The mission is to provide food, health awareness, education, and dignity, while the vision centres on inclusive, long-term community empowerment.

Under Ankita's leadership, the NGO has gained recognition for consistent charity work, large-scale outreach, and volunteer-led execution.
