Sewa Bharat is part of the national SEWA movement, established in 1984. SEWA Bharat is included in multiple SEWA organizations that work together to support the rights, livelihoods, financial independence, education, health, and social security of informal women workers. Since its founding, it has grown to provide services all over the Delhi region along with other states like Gujarat, Kerela, and Madya Pradesh.
