Social Action for Women Empowerment and Rural Advancement (SAWERA) is a Punjab based non- profit organization which is working  for women's empowerment, child welfare, rural development, health, basic education and poverty reduction.

The organization was registered under the society’s registration act 1860 in the year 2006.This NGO is doing the work at grass root level that’s why organization has a good reputation in the local community. Sawera is working on different awareness programs like working for youth empowerment, women health issues, environmental conservation and AIDs prevention.

Founder's vision & message

Sawera NGO was founded by Sdni. Kulbir Kaur in the year 2006. Today the NGO has a number of educated and dedicated staff who are working with dedication for social welfare. Also the  NGO has its own advisory board which includes famous Doctors, Lecturers and Social Workers. They help the Volunteer and the staff  to implement programs in a better way. The aim of this NGO is to help everybody in need and to provide education, food for the underprivileged people.
