With an intent to provide overall development to the youth, Punjab Youth Leaders Program was founded in Punjab in 2019. Children with exceptional skills are monitored by teachers from diverse fields. Dedicated spaces and opportunities for learning is what is taught in PYLP, a two year program for talented youth in various fields of respective career opportunities.

Punjab is a land of legends, and legends not only come from financially sound backgrounds. Sometimes all it takes is proper guidance and support to bend coal into a jewel. The Punjab based NGO is always looking for energetic, educated people who want to make a difference by doing something for the society. This is what drives Punjab’s rising NGO, Sanjhi Sikheya.

Founder's vision & message

It was in August 2017, when a bunch of people who think social welfare were driven by the idea of collective responsibility. The shared dream of a Chadhda Punjab made them join hands for the first time. As a result, the Punjab Youth Leaders Program (Sanhji Sikheya) came into existence and since its inception, the organization has successfully set milestones in its path.

Working for a whole one year in 2018, the NGO developed a Cluster Transformation Approach to improve the governance and learning processes. In the same time-period our first cohort of 10 young leaders also joined the Punjab based NGO to take this work further. PYLP is one of the futuristic organizations that are working towards modernization of education and skill development facilities in Punjab.
