Lok Kalyan Samiti was established in the year 2002 in Amritsar. It's the vision of a group of youth who are working on different issues like sustainable rural development, human health, environmental conservation, education, children health and women empowerment.

It's a government affiliated society working for the betterment of the underprivileged for the last 2 decades. With a vision to develop the present status of the underprivileged in the country Lok Kalyan Samiti is continuously rendering service across Punjab region.

Lok Kalyan Samiti, the NGO working in Amritsar is the vision of Mr. S. Jagmohan Singh Gill. With his profound knowledge in human resource management he was able to successfully drive various upliftment activities for the underprivileged section of the society.

The founder of LKS dreams of a Punjab that is free from social evils and where every child gets the right to study and succeed. He wishes that every woman should stand shoulder-to-shoulder with men and contribute towards making India a place where equality is served to all.
