Jagori Rural Charitable Trust , Dharamshala

Jagori Grameen is a Kangra located Himachal Pradesh NGO working for social welfare and women upliftment. Since 2003 the NGO is dedicated to building a just and equal society. Working on the virtue of non-violence it just started with 25 girls from 12 villages.

At present , JRCT is working across 160 villages of Kangra and Chamba district. The dedicated team of 84 members has a strong presence in the community. Connect with the NGO to serve the underprivileged in Himachal Pradesh.

Founder's vision & message

Abha Bhaiya is one of founders of Jagori Grameen AKA Jagori Rural Charitable trust in the Dharamshala town of district Kangra. She's a well nown feminist working in the country and the Southern Asian region for more than 4 decades. She's a reknowned name when it comes to NGOs  for women rightds.

Working for the women health, multiple sexualities, violence against girls and women, gender fundamentalism and militarization, gender and conflict studies, organic agriculture etc are the major issues she's dealing with.
