Dharamsala Animal Rescue is a Dharamsala-based non-profit organization that is working to create a safe environment for stray animals by reducing animal-human conflicts. This Dharamsala-based NGO is dedicated to working for the welfare of stray animals (especially dogs) by rehoming the abandoned and vaccinating the stray animals in the different regions of Dharamsala. During the COVID-19 lockdown phase, team members and volunteers at the Dharamsala located nonprofit organization have aided over a thousand animals each day with food.


This Dharamsala-based NGO is fully dedicated to the welfare of stray animals, especially dogs. The humanitarians at Dharamsala Animal Rescue want to make this world a sustainable place for stray animals. Working with a positive mindset, the volunteers and team members of this NGO are creating a future in which all kinds of species live together in harmony without any fear or threat.

Deb Jarrett is the soul of Dharamsala Animal Rescue. She’s a dedicated social worker who has always been helping the strays in one or the other ways far before the inception of this nonprofit organization. With a team of like-minded professionals and animal lovers, the founder set up the Dharamsala located NGO.


Keeping a positive mindset, ready to move on attitude, and enthusiasm, the founder of Dharamsala Animal Rescue, Dharamsala’s NGO for wildlife conservation has successfully set up a rescue center in the neediest areas of the city. With the financial support of charity and the voluntary efforts of people like you, the organization is growing each day.
