There are millions of socially and economically deprived children in India. Deepalaya, Delhi based NGO for the underprivileged is making it possible for these poor souls to live a respectful life. The NGO has initiated several remarkable study schemes for the poor children. The non-profit organisation has started study and career building programs for differently abled as well. Deepalaya dreams of a society based on legitimate rights, equity, justice, honesty, social sensitivity and a culture of service.

Deepalaya's reason for existence  is the child, especially the girl child, street child and disabled child. The family of the child is the medium through which the development takes place. Organisation and sensitisation of the community is the approach through which empowerment, capacity building and social transformations are attempted.
